UAB OPTICARGO is a transport and logistics company in business since 2003, focused on the client and on the best possible result. We offer the complete package under one contract: bulk cargo transhipment, storage and transport. Across Europe we carry cargo in curtainsider semi-trailers; in Lithuania we provide local and bulk cargo transport. Where needed, we also handle freight forwarding, so your cargo keeps moving.

We keep renewing our fleet with the latest tractor units and semi-trailers, implement innovative IT systems, and under an EU-funded project we acquired 5 biomethane-powered tractor units. For us, innovation is a way to work better and cleaner.

05 EU project
UAB OPTICARGO PROJECT “REPLACEMENT OF POLLUTING VEHICLES WITH BIOGAS-POWERED VEHICLES”
In order to reduce pollution from the transport sector and contribute to environmental protection goals, UAB OPTICARGO implemented a project under progress measure No. 10-001-06-01-01 “Promoting the use of alternative fuels in the transport sector”, activity “Promoting the replacement of polluting heavy-duty vehicles with low-emission or zero-emission vehicles”, sub-activity “Promoting the replacement of polluting heavy-duty vehicles with biogas-powered vehicles”.
Under the project, we acquired 5 biomethane-powered tractor units to replace diesel ones. In this way, the company contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality and promoting sustainable, renewable energy sources.
The project is funded by the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan “New Generation Lithuania” (Naujos kartos Lietuva) under the NextGenerationEU initiative.
